With the recent influx of newbie Alumni to Canada, a welcome event was held in Toronto earlier this year.  The event was attended by 30 new alumni to Canada, and ‘seasoned’ alumni to offer a welcome and answer many questions.  This event was so popular that we intend to do it again once we are back to social gatherings again.

It was amazing to see a room full of people who didn’t know each other, joined by being UCT alumni.  It didn’t take long for the room to be abuzz with conversation.  Hopefully many new friendships and networks were formed.
